These terms are an agreement between your business ("you") and Aggrey Fynn, a sole trader who trades as PointFlow ("we", "us"), based in Keighley, BD20 6NB, United Kingdom.
PointFlow is sold to businesses. By setting up a shop in PointFlow or using a licence key, you confirm that you are using it for your business, and that you can agree to these terms on its behalf.
PointFlow is point-of-sale and back-office software that runs in a web browser. It keeps working without an internet connection. Your shop's data is stored in the browser on the devices you use; it is not held on our servers. How we handle personal data is described in our privacy policy.
Fees for your plan are agreed with you before you start using PointFlow for your business, and are billed monthly unless we agree otherwise in writing. There are no long lock-ins: you can stop at the end of any billing month. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice before changing the fees you pay.
Your shop's data belongs to you. An admin can download a full backup of it at any time, including when your plan has expired or is read-only.
Because your data is stored on your own devices, keeping backups is your responsibility. PointFlow gives you three ways to do this:
We cannot recover data from a lost, broken or wiped device, or from a browser whose data has been cleared. We also cannot open a backup if its password is lost.
You must not:
We provide PointFlow with reasonable skill and care.
We provide support by email at [email protected] and aim to reply within one working day.
The app works offline, but updates, licence checks and this website need the internet. Once a licence key is entered, each device must be able to check its licence online at least once every 7 days. Otherwise PointFlow becomes read-only on that device until it reconnects. We'll use reasonable care to keep our online services running, but we can't promise they will never be interrupted.
PointFlow, its software and its designs belong to Aggrey Fynn, trading as PointFlow. While your plan is active, you have a non-exclusive right to use PointFlow for your business. That right can't be transferred.
Some features use services run by others, for example barcode look-up services, or Google Drive and OneDrive for folder backups. Those services are provided under their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
Otherwise:
You can stop using PointFlow at any time.
We may suspend your licence key if fees are unpaid after we have reminded you, or if you seriously break these terms.
When a licence expires, there is a 7-day grace period. During the grace period, posting pay runs and journals is paused. After it, or if a licence is suspended, PointFlow becomes read-only until the licence is renewed. Your data stays on your devices. You can still use the Starter-plan screens, and an admin can download a full backup of all of it.
We may update these terms. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice of changes that affect paying customers. Continuing to use PointFlow after the notice period means you accept the updated terms.
We aren't responsible for delays or failures caused by events we can't reasonably control. Examples include power or internet outages, failures of third-party services, and natural disasters.
These terms, together with any written quote or order we agree with you, are the whole agreement between us about PointFlow.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If your business is in Ghana, any rights you have under Ghanaian law that cannot be excluded by agreement still apply.
